How to Make a Gnome Monk

A Gnome Monk is a unique and unusual character, and can bring some fun to any game session. Whether you’re playing a tabletop war game or a roleplaying game, a Gnome Monk is a great addition to your team. This short, lightweight character can be used for combat and dungeon crawling. You can make a Gnome Monk out of almost any gnome subrace. Its unique abilities, backstory, and unique lore are sure to make your game more interesting.

The Gnome Monk has a number of unique traits and abilities that can change your character from a typical gnome to something truly special. For example, if you don’t like the standard gnome, you can break the mold and make a young gnome seeking inner peace. Or, if you’re not particularly into RPGs, you can use your Gnome Monk as a cool karate fighter!

Gnomes are generally friendly, inquisitive creatures that love pranks. They’re also mechanically-minded, so they’re great for inventors and tinkers. In addition, they’re often sought out by dwarves for their gemstone cutting skills. And, as the name suggests, they tend to live long lives.

One of the more unique abilities for a Gnome Monk is the Way of the Drunken Master. This ability lets you attack from the shadows, making the target think you’re inept. Another of these abilities is Flurry of Blows, which allows you to strike twice with your unarmed attack action. These abilities are useful in combat, but not quite enough to make your Gnome Monk a powerful class.

If you’re looking for a good base for a Gnome Monk, consider the Forest Gnome. Forest gnomes have an additional DEX, and this gives them a better chance of resisting magic attacks. Their cantrip, Minor Illusion, is also a good choice.

Some other great abilities for a Gnome Monk include Stone Camouflage and Flurry of Blows. These abilities only apply to rocky terrain and can help your character survive when moving in a more confined area. Other useful abilities are Blur, which boosts your INT and gives you an advantage on attack rolls; and Way of the Shadow, which makes you a stealthy character.

In addition to these basic traits, you can take advantage of a few other gnome subclasses. If you prefer to go with a more offensive build, you can choose a Warlock or Paladin. While these two classes have a few advantages, you’ll still need to increase their ability scores.

Unlike many races, gnomes have no major weaknesses, besides their small size. However, they do have some disadvantages. For example, they have low hit points and armor class. And, while they’re able to defend themselves against falling damage, they can’t do much against mind-affecting hazards. Plus, they have low INT and CHA, which are both considered dump stats by most casters.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for a more versatile Gnome class, you should try to look for a subrace that isn’t one of the more common ones. There are only a few gnome subraces that have good ability scores. Those subraces include forest gnomes, deep gnomes, and rock gnomes.
