Gnome Locations – Holly Hedges Guide For Fortnite

Gnomes first appeared in Fortnite back in Chapter 2, and they’re making a comeback in Remix as part of a new challenge. Finding all ten gnomes across the island will reward players with a huge XP boost, and it shouldn’t take too long to complete this task once you know where to look. The gnomes can be collected in any order, and when close enough an exclamation point will appear to let you know you’ve successfully triggered the challenge.

The first gnome to collect is on the cliff edge near the waterfall at Holly Hedges. It’s just a short walk to the southwest from the fort, but it may be difficult to spot given that the gnome is surrounded by water and trees. This is also a popular place for players to land, so you might want to try and collect it early in the match when there’s less player traffic around.

Another gnome can be found in the middle house on the outskirts of Fort Crumpet, near the living room area. It’s a little tricky to find, as it can be hard to see if there are other people in the house, but you should be able to hear a voice when standing right by it. Once you’ve collected that one, head over to the nearby Coral Castle and look for a small sign on the wall indicating where to go to find the next gnome.

The third gnome is in the midst of a large field in Weeping Woods, on a bridge that runs over a small pond. It’s a little harder to see than the other two, as it’s hidden in the middle of a group of trees and shrubs. This gnome is paired with a bear, so don’t miss out on him!

To the south of Steamy Stacks, there is a tall metal tower that’s actually a transmission power pylon. If you’re in the air, fly to the top of it and look for a gnome that’s hiding behind solar panels. The final gnome can be found at the helipad to the southeast of Retail Row, or simply by flying up above the river that flows through Frenzy Farm and Dirty Docks. It’s sat by the campfire that’s just upstream from a bridge.

The gnomes are worth 10,000 XP each, and collecting all of them will give you an additional 20,000 XP to your season 5 Week 5 quests.
