After moving into a new home with her mom, high school student Chloe discovers that her house’s garden gnomes are sentient. When she learns that they’re waging a centuries-old war against the wacky and ravenous Trogs — who want to consume everything in sight — Chloe is forced to choose between pursuing her desired high school life and taking up the fight. Directed by Peter Lepeniotis (“The Nut Job”) and written by Michael Schwartz and Zina Zaflow, the computer animated film is produced by Vanguard Animation and 3QU Media and stars Becky G as Chloe, Josh Peck as Liam, Olivia Holt as Brittany and George Lopez as Zook.

A little-known PC conversion of a little-known Amiga home computer game, Gnome Alone is an action and strategy game where you assume the role of a lonely gnome who owns a garden and greenhouse. This gardener’s task is to plant, nurture and protect his flowers from various pests including gnomes who are constantly trying to steal them. In addition to this, the player must deal with snails and other pests that are harmful to the gnomes’ health, as well as keeping track of the weather; if it rains too much, the flowers will die.

When a gnome is captured, it gets put in a prison where the player must rescue it using the prison keys found throughout the level and also destroying all traps. There are multiple levels in the game, each of which has a different theme. The first level is in a forest, the second is in a sand castle and the third is in an underground cave. Each of these levels has a different goal, but the final objective is always the same: to free the captured gnome.

Gnome Alone also spawned a videogame for the Atari Jaguar CD and the Commodore 64, which is very similar to the original PC version. In the console versions, the player is able to play as either a boy or a girl, and there are three levels of difficulty. In addition, the videogame has a level editor that allows players to create their own levels.

The gnome from the movie has appeared in other videogames as well. For example, he appears as a bonus character in Left 4 Dead 2, where he can be left near the start of the race against Dog to the base and retrieved later. He can also be left in the garage during the Combine ambush at White Forest Inn and retrieved afterward.

In addition to this, the gnome has also made appearances in a few of the downloadable maps for the game. For example, there is an Achievement in the game that involves launching him into space on Rocket Lab’s “Return to Sender” mission, and another that requires the gnome to be held while entering the Vault at the White Forest Inn. This latter achievement is particularly challenging because the gnome is not easily carried and will fall off during the ride, as it does not have any legs.
