A gnome in pleasant park is one of the newest challenges to hit Fortnite Season 5. Week 5 of the game’s season has started and fans can now begin completing a series of new gnome-related challenges. These gnome-related quests send players to dig up gnomes in Fort Crumpet and Holly Hedges, as well as bury them in Pleasant Park or Retail Row.
This week’s challenges are live in the Fortnite battle royale and are available to play on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. This week’s challenges are a bit different from previous ones and require a little more work. You need to locate four gnomes and dig them up, and you also need to bury two of them in either Pleasant Park or Retail Row.
There are a total of four different gnome locations in Fortnite and they’re scattered across the map, so it can be a little challenging to figure out where all the gnomes are hiding. The good news is that they’re all buried in glowing blue mounds, so you should be able to locate them by searching around the area where the mounds are located.
The first gnome you should aim to find is in Fort Crumpet, which is just west of Sweaty Sands and an old stone fortress. The gnome is buried in a small mound of dirt that’s under an arch.
Gnome in pleasant park is a named location to the east of Fort Crumpet and it features two more gnomes that you can dig up to complete this challenge. The first gnome is almost directly in the center of the area, and it’s buried next to a tree. The second gnome can be found in the backyard of the large brick house with the candy canes lining the front door.
While finding gnomes in Pleasant Park and Fort Crumpet isn’t too difficult, the challenge of digging up them in Pleasant Park is a bit trickier. You’ll need to dig up a glowing blue mound of dirt, and this is where the gnomes are buried.
Once you have a glowing blue mound of dirt, all you need to do is approach it and strike it with your harvesting tool, and then the gnome will spawn. The gnomes spawn in groups of three, so it’s important to make sure you’re not in the same group as another player before striking the mound with your harvesting tool.
There are several gnomes to be found in Pleasant Park, and you’ll need to take your time and locate them. The first gnome is buried next to a tree, and it can be found at the northeast section of the park, shown as “A” in the map on Fortnite’s official site. The second gnome is in the backyard of the red house, and it can be found at ground level by looking for a dirt mound along the fence.
